YD URiSCANTM, urine analyzer is using a reflectance photometer.  Once the subsequent chemical and enzymatic reactions change the color of the test strip pad accordingly, the color intensity of test strip is precisely converted to voltage value through 3 lighting sources(Red, Green, Blue).  Herein, CCD(Charge Coupled Device) will play a role of measuring and indicating the extents and routes of such coloration. CCD will give more precise, objective and consistent test values by using the LED(Light Emitting Diode) than the conventional color concentration measuring devices.  In CPU, the collected values will be calculated by using a plus system.  Using the initially measured calibration data, the target value (tested with distilled water to get stabilized results) and uses it as the blank.  In comparison to this blank value, the measured value is calculated and output the data in reflectance rate(%R).
